Daytona Beach Shores Florida Condos

You want one reason to own a condo in Daytona Beach Shores? Forget it; I can give you a dozen! Let’s see, where to begin? Well, first, it is in Florida, which means mild winters and excellent spring and fall weather. So, okay, summer is hotter than blazes, but, that is also when you get the best deals! And, it is not called Daytona Beach Shores for nothing. A lot of Daytona Beach Shores condominiums are down by the water, the Atlantic, which means gentle sea breezes to help you keep cool. 

The Daytona Beach Shores real estate can be very expensive, one of the drawbacks to Florida. So, rental properties are quite popular, and when it comes to amenities - have they got them! Some condos rent for as little as $400 a week and they max out at around $5,500 a week. Yeah, expensive, but you are looking at places that will have private beaches, hot tubs, recreation centers, youth programs for the kids, sailing, fishing and countless other activities. And those are just the things to do on site! 

Let us not forget, Florida is famous for two things: oranges, and Disney World. From the Daytona Beach Shores area, it is a short drive down I-4 (which ends right at the town’s doorstep) to Orlando, Kissimmee and the Magic Kingdom. Add to that Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World and countless local parks, and it is easy to see that you will never have a dull moment while you are there! 

Now, of course, there are those people who prefer something other than the frantic action of a theme park. Well, Florida’s got you covered. If you are a nature lover, there are the world famous Everglades, the so called: Sea of Grass. Airboat tours are available from any of a number of locations. Is that kind of nature a little too wild for you? There are zoos, nature trails and golf courses throughout the area. The LPGA International Golf Course is within minutes of the town, and that is only one of nearly a dozen golf courses in the immediate area. There is also Pelican Bay Country Club (North and South), Daytona Beach Golf Club, and Crane Lake Golf and Country Club, to name only a few. 

Then there might be those in your group who are looking to the future in Daytona Beach Shores. Well, the Kennedy Space Center is little more than an hour’s drive away. You can get the grand tour of the facility, and even see the Space Shuttle being readied for its next mission. Access to the area can be just about any way you like: drive in my car, come by boat, and/or fly into Daytona Beach International Airport. 

Right now, the Florida real estate market is quite depressed. So, the prices for buying condos, timeshares, and other types of Daytona Beach Shores’ real estate are actually quite low. Some properties can be bought for as little as $150,000. Now, that might sound high, but when you consider that the same properties were going for a quarter of a million as recently as a year ago, it is a real bargain.
